Solution Manager Data Center Projects

In view of digitalization, we are currently transforming to be a leading edge computing player, expanding our solutions into the entire Data Centre space, focusing on niches with our containerized DC hardware solutions, as well gearing for software and service offerings.

With digitalization, ICT Infrastructure such as Data Centers is getting more and more critical to provide a best suited solution for applications and process. With our micro, mini and modular data center offerings, we are seeking to be a game changer to convert traditional data center architecture designs to modular scaling . Thanks to our modular portfolio we strive to perfectly adjust to customer requirements. Focusing on Edge-Solutions, we enhance our solution offering by a comprehensive service portfolio to monitor and maintain our solutions remotely for our customers.

Scope of Responsibility

 

Main purpose: Responsibility for DC portfolio development, market research and project management within R&D

 

• Identification, evaluation, development and in-depth market research concerning state of the art Data Centers (e.g. micro-, mini- and container Data Center) in alignment with the business strategy
• Identification of emerging trends, competitive landscape, potential growth opportunities and derivation of USPs
• Drives the development and improvement of the products together with the product management- and development team
• Is the expert for internal requests regarding technical requirements (e.g. cooling, power, assembly) in the Data Center portfolio
• Project management and support within the Data Center business segment (e.g. sales support)
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g. product management, development, production, quality and sourcing)

Request of Qualification

 

Work experience

• More than 5 year experience in the Data Center business
• Experience with prior work in Data Center operations (e.g. Data Center Technician, Manager, Engineer) are beneficial

Educational background

• Diploma or certifications in the Data Centers sector (e.g. TSI.professional, Accredited Tier Professional) are beneficial

Major requirement

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Language: English and Czech must, German beneficial

• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong self-management skills
• Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, including seeing the big picture and motivating others towards common goals
• Project managing skills
• Open to travel (10%)
