The Role: Senior Director of Product Management, Content & Partner Integration
As the Senior Director of Product Management for Content & Partner Integration at Ascenda, you'll report into the CPO, Jan Wilken, and be the key leader driving the strategic direction and execution of our rewards marketplace. Your role goes beyond managing products—it's about creating and cultivating strong merchant partnerships, identifying and integrating cutting-edge content, and ensuring the seamless execution of commercial agreements. You will work closely with our partnerships team to understand the needs of our key partners across multiple categories, including airlines, hotels, and emerging digital assets, ensuring that their offerings align with Ascenda’s vision and customer needs. This position requires a deep understanding of both the product and partnership sides of the business, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that enhance the user experience and drive growth across our platform.
Your leadership will be instrumental in identifying and securing new content partnerships, expanding our earn and burn categories, and collaborating closely with commercial and engineering teams. You will ensure that the product roadmap aligns with Ascenda’s strategic goals while working to overcome obstacles and enable your team to execute rapidly. By driving global expansion and managing cross-functional teams, you will set a high standard for collaboration and excellence, ensuring that your team delivers on ambitious goals. Your ability to engage with merchants, understand their products, and determine fit for Ascenda’s customers will be crucial as you refine our offerings and ensure we exceed market expectations.

Who You Are

• Over 12 years of experience in product management, including significant leadership roles, ideally in a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
• Significant exposure to rewards programs, including in a financial services context
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of urgency in getting things done
• A natural leader, leading through the frontlines, who has successfully built and nurtured high-performing product teams, fostering an environment of mentorship and innovation.
• Disciplined execution and project management skills to ensure a fast pace of progress
• Analytical and strategic in problem-solving, with a history of making data-driven decisions.
• An exceptional communicator and collaborator, adept at working across diverse cultures and time zones.
