SQL Server Business Analyst

SQl DBA
The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Duties

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform thorough testing of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Job Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience reflecting increasing responsibilities in the IT industry.
• 5+ years of experience in QA or Testing roles
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience with manual testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server to create and track all testing related taks
