A.   POSITION PURPOSE

We are seeking a conscientious, intrinsically motivated research assistant to join a unique, large-scale, grant-funded intervention project to reduce depression among California youth aged 14 to 19.  This position is ideal for a post-baccalaureate individual interested in clinical psychology, health psychology, neuroscience, and the intersection of these fields. The project has a particular focus on LGBTQ+ youth.

This position is a one-year fixed term appointment, with the possibility to renew for an additional year. Consideration will be given to a hybrid work schedule (partially onsite and offsite work), subject to operational needs, but the project will require you to be physically present on campus at times. Interested candidates should include a resume, cover letter describing why they are interested in this position at this stage in their career and contact information for three professional references for consideration.
