That’s why we’re looking for a talented <strong>Senior </strong><strong>Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)</strong>  to join Procore’s journey to revolutionize a historically underserved industry.</p><p>Testing is evolving at Procore and we’re looking for passionate system thinkers to help shape this transformation. As a <strong>Sr </strong><strong>SDET</strong>, you’ll create the tools and systems used to deliver the Procore Platform with quality and velocity. You’ll push our systems to their limits and beyond, improving our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) automation infrastructure, providing our engineers with the transparency needed to move swiftly and with confidence.</p><p>This position will report to a member of our Engineering Management team and has the opportunity to work remotely from the Czech Republic.</p><p><strong><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Work cross functionally to create the tools and resources needed to achieve extraordinary results that render a significant impact extending beyond the boundaries of traditional engineering roles</li><li>Lead test automation efforts on new features</li><li>Build out and execute regression tests that are key to a successful release cycle</li><li>Make data-driven recommendations to modify testing practices and improve engineering processes around testing</li><li>Participate in architectural discussions addressing testability concerns</li><li>Maintain test frameworks and other test artifacts</li><li>Leverage CI/CD tooling to maintain interfaces of test frameworks and other test artifacts </li><li>Work on moderately complex items independently</li><li>Identify, document, and track software bugs</li></ul><p><strong><strong>What we’re looking for:</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Computer Science degree or comparable understanding of CS fundamentals, including data structures, design patterns, algorithms, databases, networking, and security</li><li>5+ years relevant work experience</li><li>Knowledge of the most common categories of security vulnerabilities affecting web applications and how to automate tests for them</li><li>Test automation experience in a distributed/service-oriented architecture environment</li><li>Experience with object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and refactoring; including refactoring test suites</li><li>Deep familiarity with development and CI/CD pipelines in modern cloud environments</li><li>Experience with performance/load testing</li><li>Experience with UI automation framework</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills in English</li><li>Czech tax residency is a must</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>About Us</strong></p><p>Procore Technologies is building the software that builds the world.
