About the Job:

Staff Nurse I

A registered professional nurse who performs direct nursing care under immediate direction of a nurse manager or charge nurse on an assigned floor or unit. This includes recently graduated registered nurses or refresher nurses during their probationary period and throughout the period of time that is considered to be orientation time until such time that they are functioning as a Staff Nurse II.

Staff Nurse II

A registered professional nurse who performs direct and indirect patient care on an assigned unit under the general supervision of the nurse manager and who is qualified to assume charge nurse responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read and comprehend written materials of a complex level such as government regulations and other agency requirements written in English.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing including the ability to make effective group presentations in English.
• Must be able to comprehend and make mathematical computations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and statistical applications.
• Understands and effectively uses Microsoft Office, Laborworkx, and clinical documentation systems pertinent to role. Effectively uses internet resources to enhance role.

Licensure/Certification

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
• Professional certification recommended.
• BSN preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Shift Time: 8-, 12- hour shifts

Benefits and Salary:

Commensurate with position and experience. Comprehensive benefits package to include: Medical, HSA, dental, 403(b) with employer match of 5%, wellness benefits, etc.

Range: $35.95 - $47.52
