About Houston

 

ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team

 

You will be a key member of ExxonMobil’s Medicine and Occupational Health (MOH) department, which provides occupational health services to all ExxonMobil sites in the US and Mexico and forms part of a broader, integrated global occupational health function in ExxonMobil. You will be responsible for leading and managing teams across multiple sites in the region to deliver occupational health service excellence in support of ExxonMobil’s operations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders across the world to develop, implement and improve occupational health services to the business.

The role will be based at our Houston Campus site which is the global headquarters for ExxonMobil. Travel to other ExxonMobil sites within the US and Mexico will be required

What you will do:

 

Professional

  • Provide health and safety leadership across the organization
  • Provide supervision, leadership and management support for clinical teams across multiple sites in the region (U.S. and Mexico)
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the business to deliver best practice occupational health services
  • Participate in and lead projects with global teams

 

Management

  • Supervise MOH staff (clinical and administrative)
  • Recruit, train and develop MOH staff
  • Participate in strategic planning with 
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the department
  • Manage MOH service delivery within agreed budget 
  • Build working relationships with both the business lines and colleagues in the global MOH function and more broadly in ExxonMobil

 

Clinical Support

  • Provide clinical advice and support for management of complex cases, including work-related injuries and illnesses
  • Provide telemedicine evaluations for sites as requested by site clinical teams
  • Provide collaborative practice support for nurse practitioners as required by regulation

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Hold an unrestricted and unencumbered medical license in Texas and Louisiana or be able to obtain
  • Have completed a medical doctorate (M.D. or D.O.)
  • Hold board certification in an ABMS specialty, preferably in occupational medicine 
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of post-r
