Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) Sector is seeking a Principal Project Management professional to support multiple Organizational Units (OUs) across the Navigation and Cockpit Systems (NACS) Business Unit in the Navigation and Targeting Systems (NT&S) Division. This position will be on-site at our Woodland Hills, CA location.

As a direct report to the NACS Business Operations Manager, the successful candidate will support Business Unit NCTA and/or Capital Project planning, execution, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will be comfortable with prioritizing and managing competing demands for their time and thrive in networking and interacting with business unit and division leadership to achieve objectives.

What You’ll Get To Do:

  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of NCTA and/or Capital projects

  • Serve as liaison between OU Leadership and Business Unit Vice President and Division Leadership

  • Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports

  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet Business Unit and Division goals and objectives

  • Support the NACS Business Unit Business Development Team in Sales Force by adding/reviewing targets

  • Support the planning and execution of Business Unit Reviews, Woodland Hills Executive site visits as well as multiple yearly site events

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years' or a Master’s Degree and 3 years of relevant experience (An additional 4 years of applicable work experience supporting business management, project management or supply chain management

  • Experience with MS Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience generating Excel spread sheets, creating formulas, and pivot tables

  • Experience and working understanding of financial records and reports

  • US Citizenship required

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active/current DoD Secret Clearance

  • Experience with or mastery of any of the following applications: Tableau, Sales Force, SharePoint, RDIS/SIMPL, Teams

  • Experience with the identification of problems/issues, and ability to drive them to closure in a timely manner

  • Experience recognizing and responding to customer needs in order to develop additional sales that support organizational objectives
