Job Summary: Rocky Mountain Custom Landscapes (RMCL) is seeking an experienced Erosion Control Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage erosion control projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, environmental science, or a related field, and possess excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement erosion control plans and strategies for construction projects. Oversee all phases of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Manage all subcontractors and ensure subcontractor work, quality, and performance adhere company standards. 
•    Sales and Estimating: Be able to complete accurate estimate takeoffs, create proposals in estimation software. Prepare detailed proposals for projected work and client needs. 
•    Supervision: Directly supervise Erosion Control crews to ensure quality and safety protocols are being followed. 
•    Site Evaluation and Inspection: Conduct site evaluations to identify areas at risk of erosion. Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with erosion control standards and regulations. Monitor, maintain, and document all established erosion control procedures (SWPPP).
•    Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, construction crews, and environmental scientists to integrate erosion control measures into project designs. Provide technical guidance and training on erosion control methods and materials.
•    Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Prepare and submit necessary documentation and reports to regulatory agencies.
•    Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to stay on track.
•    Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Provide regular updates on project status and address any concerns promptly.
•    Crossfunctional Collaboration: Assist Landscape Construction Project Managers with smaller construction projects as needed.


Qualifications:
•    Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field.
•    Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in erosion control, construction management, or a related field. Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
•    Skills: Strong knowledge of erosion control techniques, environmental regulations, and construction practices. Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
•    Certifications: Professional certifications in erosion control or project management (e.g., CPESC, PMP) are preferred.

Safety: All employees shall operate and fulfill all job responsibilities thoughtfully and intentionally within safe working conditions.  Employee’s will understand and perform daily risk assessments of daily tasks even when skilled or experienced in the given task.  Employee’s will attentively participate in all applicable safety training and topics for their job function.  Employee’s shall put to use all PPE, tools, and equipment provided by the company as appropriate for their specific job function.  If applicable, employee’s will routinely inspect PPE, tools, and equipment and report any damaged or deteriorating conditions. Employees should immediately report to management any unsafe working conditions or hazardous conditions.
