Primary oversight and direction for TEVA’s Facilities and Physical Security operations for all sites in the Northeast US. Ensure that the management and execution of hard and soft services and projects are provided in accordance with operational and financial targets. Drive continuous improvement across all responsibilities and all assigned sites. Develop and strengthen relationships with customers to ensure facilities needs are understood and met in the most effective and efficient manner. Develop and lead facilities team to ensure full engagement and provide consistent, predictable results for business operations.
- Provide day to day and strategic direction for the team overseeing all facilities and physical security operations in order to support business operations at all assigned sites. FM Services include but are not limited to hard services such as the maintenance, installation and construction of building systems and infrastructure such as electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems and utilities. Also includes management of soft services including: security, cleaning, food services, waste management, pest control, uniforms, etc. Strategic planning for facilities operations for all sites in the US Northeast cluster.
- Support Head of Global Facilities Management (GFM)-North America with the implementation of strategic plans and initiatives for assigned sites
- Lead changes for assigned sites in accordance with the organizational and strategic initiatives within GFM and TEVA.
- Develop annual budgets for both operational and capital expenditures, to reach cost reduction targets set by the GFM management and Teva. Manage, forecast, maintain, and monitor the facilities budgets in line with financial targets.
How you’ll spend your day
- Overall responsibility for contracts with FM suppliers
- Provide FM leadership (through sub-regional FM leaders) for all aspects of the various facilities
- Operational support of the region to ensure and maintain the highest possible services levels and standards
- Support global management of achieving regional savings targets
- Identifying operational requirements and operational solutions to upcoming issues and problems (bottlenecks) on various organizational levels
- Acting as FM interface and supporting synergy projects with the local, regional and global support teams
- Visiting the sites and auditing the selected strategic services providers
- Requesting changing of the service providers contracts and renegotiating their conditions with support of the TEVA procurement team
- Representing FM, as needed, in the new facilities planning, decommissioning, upgrades projects to make sure that the FM requirements are considered
- Promote synergy projects across FM and Teva operations to target effectiveness and best business practices
Your experience and qualifications
- Experience Required: minimum of 5 years in facility management including management of budgets, soft & hard services, and capital projects as well as overseeing management level employees in a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food processing or highly regulated industries
- Education Required: Bachelor’s degree (preferrably in Facilities Management, Engineering or related field)
- Education Preferred: Master’s degree
- Availability for up to 10% travel
- Ability to create strong networks within a matrix organization
- Proactive, well organized and flexible
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, including the ability to effectively communicate at all levels
- High level of written and spoken English
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong level of customer-focused experience
- Team player, service orientated, supportive
