Operations Internship

Job Summary

As an Operations Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of UFP Industries. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure smooth and efficient processes across various departments. This internship will provide exposure to a wide range of operational tasks, including hands on working with equipment in the PalletOne BU.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures and policies.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Conduct research and analysis to support operational decision-making.
• Assist with inventory management and procurement processes.
• Provide administrative support to the operations team, including data entry and documentation.
• Participate in meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
• Completes courses and assignments as directed.
• Prepares various reports as required.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Studying Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in the use of MS Excel spreadsheets is required.
