About the role

Position Overview:

We are seeking a visionary VP of IT to steer our technological direction and ensure our systems & technology scale with our ambitious growth plans. The Vice President of Information Technology is a key strategic role responsible for the oversight and direction of all IT-related activities within the company. This position requires a seasoned leader with a strong background in all aspects of technology, from software development and cloud infrastructure to project management and security. The VP of IT will ensure seamless integration and alignment of IT services with business processes, focusing on delivering innovative solutions that align with LendingOne’s business goals.

 

This is a full-time employment opportunity working in our Headquarters office in Boca Raton, FL.

,Qualifications:

In order to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following list of qualifications and responsibilities is not all inclusive, as each employee is expected to be a collaborator and may be assigned other tasks, as necessary. This is meant to serve as an overview of the position description: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; master’s degree preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of IT including, software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, project management, and data analytics
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven record in managing outsourced software development team
  • Experience with business applications, specifically tools supporting Go-To-Market (GTM) activities (CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot, Marketing Automation tools, etc.)
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future needs and trends in IT
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience in a senior IT role, preferably in a mid-sized company
  • Extensive background in software development, especially leading outsourced teams
  • Strong hands-on capabilities, paired with an innovative and strategic mindset
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience developing IT roadmaps and prioritizing projects effectively
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management
  • Vendor management experience with a track record of negotiating and maintaining productive relationships

 

Responsibilities:

·         Develop and execute an IT strategy that supports the company's strategic goals and operational needs

·         Deep technical expertise across all technology disciplines

·         Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of IT Cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless operations

·         Lead cybersecurity initiatives to protect company data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

·         Manage the entire project lifecycle, from ideation to execution and evaluation

·         Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve business outcomes

·         Collaborate closely with other departments to deliver technology solutions that drive business value

·         Craft and maintain IT roadmaps that prioritize projects based on company objective

·         Manage relationships with vendors and outsourced teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and cost-effectiveness

·         Maintain a hands-on approach to understand and address IT challenges directly

·         Foster innovation within the company to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and provide new capabilities to the company

·         Provide strategic financial guidance for all aspects of technology, managing budgets and forecasting expenses

·         Lead, mentor, and expand the IT team to meet the evolving needs of the business
