Join our team and help create a supportive and empowering environment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Lead Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in promoting independence, self-advocacy, and community engagement.

Schedule: Sun-Thurs 1p-9p

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily living activities (personal care, meal prep, cleaning)
  • Foster independence and encourage community involvement
  • Provide transportation for appointments and activities
  • Assist with medication administration (MAP certified) and health tracking
  • Lead and train staff during shifts, participate in interviews, and help fill schedule gaps
  • Maintain documentation and ensure a safe, respectful environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (degree in Human Services preferred)
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience (IDD/DD or brain injury support preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
  • MAP, CPR, and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Compassion, flexibility, and strong communication skills
