Sr. Business Analyst/Product Owner
The role of the Analytics Delivery Team is to design innovative analytic solutions to solve complex business problems. Through analytically derived insights, we provide our clients with visibility into their business while systematically leading them towards improved business performance. As a senior business analyst/product owner, you will act as a liaison between IIS and business units for the development, implementation, and support of our products. You will be engaged in a variety of project management assignments. To be successful in this role, you will need strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change. Ability to handle multiple assignments and collaborating with your co-workers is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as a liaison between IT and business units for the development, implementation and support of new systems and enhancement under minimal guidance.
- Actively leads and facilitates the gathering of customer needs and objectives to evaluate new applications or enhance existing applications.
- Self-directs oneself to document and test systems requirements and solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions working collaboratively with the development team.
- Prepares communications and makes presentations on solution alternatives and system enhancements.
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
PREFERRED:
- Experience working with healthcare data.
- Experience working with Cerner EMR.
- Knowledge of multi-application environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong people skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience required.
- Requires experience in various business areas and applications (package and custom).
- Requires Experience implementing or supporting applications (ERP, HR payroll, finance).
- Requires experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Vizio, Word).
- Requires experience facilitating/ leading requirement gathering sessions.
- Requires experience with process modeling requirements and test plans.
