Directs, supervises and perform repair and maintenance work on a variety of equipment used in the county.

Recommends uniform procedures and standards of operation of the maintenance program.

Approves and disapproves the actions of subordinate employees.

Recommends all purchases to the Facilities Maintenance Superintendent.

Develops preventative maintenance review schedule for all equipment.

Plan work and assigns tasks to subordinates.

Performs other duties as assigned.  

Licenses and Certifications.

Relevant professional certifications are desirable.

Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Testing Required

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and three (3) years’ experience related to above-described duties with two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.

or

High school diploma or GED and seven (7) years related work experience with two (2) years in supervisory capacity.

and

Mississippi Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record maintained throughout employment.
