Job Description

The Executive Director Global Manufacturing Finance will be responsible for providing financial support to Global TNM Operations management (Operations, Quality, Purchasing and Supply Chain etc.) and will oversee the financial and accounting support for Manufacturing departments in multiple sites for NDT, ANI and RVI product lines. This person is responsible for the development and execution of financial policies procedures and controls pertaining to: Inventory/Reserves Costing Other Cost of Sales and Inventory Asset / Reserves Budgeting / Forecasting and the Accounting / Reporting of the same for all TNM sites. Will work with Operations management and Site personnel to analyze results drive productivity enhance inventory management increase cost savings and achieve defined objectives.  Collaborating extensively with Global TNM Financial Planning, Site Manufacturing Finance and other Finance personnel this role will be responsible for Operations-related business case preparation and financial analysis/justifications of investment projects and the related tracking of actual to planned results.

Job Duties

• Develop and implement consistent inventory and cost accounting policies and procedures and operational reporting/metrics for all manufacturing facilities.
• Supervise the accounting and reporting activities related to inventory and cost
• Oversee, manage, and report on the consolidated plant manufacturing results for senior management.
• Prepare accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate business results variances and performance trends make recommendations and business partner with Operations Management and others to drive improvement.
• Own the development of operations based financial modelling to understand cost drivers evaluate alternative scenarios understand operational risks and create forward looking analysis.
• Oversee business case preparation and financial analysis/justifications of investment projects ensuring appropriate resource allocation and return on investment.
• Coordinate and lead annual manufacturing budget reviews monthly and quarterly reviews and periodic forecast updates with operational and senior management for all manufacturing locations.
• Oversee the establishment of revised burden rates on a periodical basis

Job Requirements

Education:

B.S. required in Finance or Accounting and relevant operational experience in a global manufacturing environment.     

CMA or MBA is preferred.     

Experience:

• 10 years financial management experience in a global manufacturing operational environment preferred.
• 5 years or more of management and or supervisory experience
• Global Product Cost and Inventory experience and ownership
• Ability to interact with various levels within Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Executive Leadership  
• Global manufacturing experience with multiple site locations
• Ability to operate in a complex environment.
