As a Registered Radiology Technologist in our 7 On/7 Off Program, you will work a total of 72 hours within the pay period. In this role, you will receive competitive compensation for standard days completed alongside an additional eight hours of pay for your extra efforts. All the while, you will serve a broad range of patients for imaging on a variety of diagnoses. Combining your skills with a compassionate attitude and outlook can make a difference in the lives of patients and their families. A caregiver in this position works evenings/nights from 1:00PM - 11:30PM.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:   

  • Perform general radiology, portable and fluoroscopic procedures (e.g., GIs, GUs, pediatrics, arthrograms, spine center). 
  • Produce images of optimal quality for interpretation with accuracy and without delay. 
  • Maintain documentation requirements to ensure that all technical data is entered timely and accurately. 
  • Notify management and take proper action to address equipment malfunctions. 
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. 
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam. 
  • Assist with scheduling patient procedures. 
  • Monitor and determine priority of patients. 
  • Assist Radiologist with fluoroscopic, GU, GI and pediatric procedures. 
  • Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS. 
  • Report immediately any malfunctions to help desk and PACS Administrator. 
  • Process billing via RIS. 
  • Provide instruction and mentoring to new hires and Radiology students. 
  • Rotate through all diagnostic imaging modalities, sites and/or locations, as needed. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology 
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists [R.T.(R) (ARRT)], in good standing 
  • Current state licensure 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) 
  • Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   

  • One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Physical Requirements:
