AtkinsRealis USA Inc. seeks a Sr. Data Scientist I in Tampa, FL.
 

Job Description:

Under supervision, work collaboratively with industry experts to uncover hidden insights that solve important and impactful real-world problems within a growing team of data specialists. Utilize advanced technology stacks to analyze complex datasets to build and deliver solutions to diverse problems. Carry out job functions within small, project oriented, multidisciplinary teams of Data Science professionals and support direct interaction with clients within the context of project progress meetings, design reviews, operations and project production and delivery. Specific duties include: Collect and organize data from many different sources, including structured and unstructured data; Discover trends and patterns, combine various algorithms and modules;  Use machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers; Work with team members and leaders to develop a data strategy; Develop dashboards and other reporting tools to present data for decision makers. May be assigned to unanticipated work locations throughout the United States. Remote working or telecommuting permitted in all U.S. States, in accordance with company policy. Relocation to within a reasonable commuting distance of the job opportunity is required.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or statistics, or related field.

Experience: Four (4) years of experience in job offered, or in a related occupation.

Education or experience in:

Academic training or work experience in the following:

1. Scripting, Python, R software

2. Analyzing real-time and historical traffic information for various travel metrics

3. PTV Vissim and PTV Visum

4. Synchro

5. Microstation
