Job Summary:
Looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineering Professional looking to challenge themselves and support the future in our Adaptive Military Engines Team for Mechanical Systems, Externals, and Nacelles (MSEN).
Key Responsibilities:
Integrate with the Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) to plan, acquire, and manage appropriate budgets and risks for module.
Plan and coordinate activities across multiple groups to ensure on-time delivery of inputs/outputs in support of the overall program schedule and milestones.
Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities for Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) work packages that align with assigned work.
Ensure risk analysis and gap closure plans are in place to address module and part level issues.
Oversee and coordinate verification, and validation efforts supporting the Adaptive Engine program.
Understanding & deriving verification & validation requirements, developing & managing verification & validation strategies/plans at the Module and Part level.
Provide module level and part level CIPT support during test article assembly, instrumentation process and during the test program.
Identify validation testing and product risks, and monitor execution of burndown plans
Travel: 5% required
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
8+ years of engineering experience OR 5+ years of engineering experience with an Advanced Degree in Engineering.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Active and transferable U.S. Government issued security clearance prior to start date.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Focus on results and the ability to drive tasks to completion.
Demonstrated effectiveness in working across functions, organizations.
Demonstrated technical leadership experience managing budgets, and schedules.
Prior experience in validation activities for development programs
Knowledge and experience with Project Management toolsets (e.g., Agile, SAP, Primavera, or MS Project, DOORs).
