PGH is hiring for an administrative office specialist to the Pharmacy Department by providing secretarial/clerical support, taking care of incoming and outgoing correspondence; completes all timekeeping responsibilities in Kronos, prepares purchase requests, work orders, and follow-up to ensure they are completed. Maintains and monitors dept. schedules for routines and on call. Collaborates with IT, Physicians and nursing routinely.
Minimum Qualifications
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Power Point. Knowledge of G Suite.
-Proficient on computers and ability to learn new software programs. Able to organize, prioritize and make independent decisions.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Demonstrated ability to prepare reports, memos, draft and prepare meeting minutes, and create forms.
Additional Considerations
-Associate degree in business or related field, course work in medical terminology and/or pharmacology, experience in medical environment
