<p><span><b>Job Title</b></span></p>(Senior) Research Analyst (m/w/d)<p><b><span>Job Description Summary</span></b></p>The (Senior) Research Analyst, Germany is responsible for research, data &amp; analytics and reporting activities across the German market. This role is designed to support the organic growth of the German businesses by thought leadership and insight outputs to help generate leads and opportunities in the business.<br/><br/>The role will directly report to and work closely with the Head of Research, Germany to ensure consistency of client experience, processes and operational excellence across the EMEA region. The role will also cooperate with colleagues from local business services departments, as well as other central functions, mainly Marketing and Data &amp; Analytics teams.<p><span><b>Job Description</b></span></p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Ensure real estate data collection and update of existing databases (office, industrial, retail, residential, hotel, investment etc.) to deliver regular market and economic updates, with specific focus areas determined by team structure, location, and other relevant factors.</li><li>Cooperate with other business services teams to gather, analyse, and utilize local and regional market insights, including competitive, client, and industry data, to produce market thought leadership.</li><li>Support business development activities, including presenting market updates to clients.</li><li>Undertake independent market analyses for ad-hoc reports for clients as defined by the business.</li><li>Support marketing and communication activities in line with the company content strategy defined by the Head of Business Development Services, Germany.</li><li>Contribute to C&amp;W brand visibility through active participation in public events and social media.</li><li>Cooperate with C&amp;W research teams in other countries and the wider EMEA team.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Knowledge &amp; Experience:</b></p><ul><li><b>Strong analytical skills:</b> proficiency in data collection, statistical analysis, and market research methodologies; ability to assess data, identify trends, and interpret market dynamics; capability to evaluate sources, challenge assumptions, and ensure accuracy.</li><li><b>Strong communications skills:</b> translating data into clear, compelling narratives through reports, presentations, and data visualisations.</li><li><b>Creative problem solving:</b> working effectively, efficiently, and independently, and collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment; preferably possessing knowledge about key real estate metrics.</li><li><b>Tools used:</b> Proficiency essential: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint); prior experience useful: MS Power BI, Power Query, GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS).</li><li>Experience in professional services or the real estate sector (length and depth of experience relevant to seniority of the role)</li><li>Degree in Economics, Geography, Real Estate or related fields preferred</li><li>Excellence written and oral communication skills in German and English</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we offer:</b></p><p>Early assumption of responsibility, flat hierarchies and an international and modern working environment, attractive and performance-related remuneration, flexible working hours with the possibility of hybrid work scheme, 30 vacation days plus special leave days, further training and development opportunities, company pension scheme and Deutschlandticket.</p><p></p><p></p><p>We foster a culture of inclusion that embraces the unique strengths, perspectives, and experiences of all our employees.
