Fleet Truck, Trailer or Reefer Technicians - Harrisonville, MO

Location:  Harrisonville, MO

Shift:  Sunday - Wednesday, 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM and Thursday - Saturday, 4:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay:  $25 - $40 per hours.  Overnight shifts are eligible for a $2.00 per hour shift premium

• Flexible schedules with 3/12 hour days or 4/10 hour days
• $2.00/hour shift differential pay for 2nd and 3rd shift
• Extra pay per hour for ASE certifications in Brakes, Suspension, and PM’s

Requirements & Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Completion of a high school education or equivalent.
• Must hold a clean and valid driver’s license.
• Must possess a toolbox and required tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform PM services on trailers, refrigeration units, trucks and APU units.
• General repairs on trucks - coolant system, fuel system, electrical system, drive train, brakes, and suspension.
• Perform brake replacement on trucks and trailers.
• Trailer ABS brake system repairs.
• FHWA inspections on trailers.
• Perform tire replacement/mount/dismount/flat repairs/balance.
• Perform body, structural, rear door and electrical repairs on trailers.
• Perform interior and exterior trailer washes.
• Perform APU repairs and service.
• Meet standard repair times for jobs performed.
• Performs road service work.
• Service and repair of company vehicles.
• Operates company and customer vehicles, forklifts, hoists and tools.
• Maintains a clean shop.
• Maintains confidentiality of all company information.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
