What we want
The Program Assistant will primarily work in the community with specific target populations, working closely with medical providers, pharmaceutical companies, and other agencies to improve the access of medications for residents.
What you need to know
Location: McAllen, TX with occasional travel
Schedule: Full Time—may require work beyond regular office hours and/or on the weekends.
Salary: Will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in a medical/health related field.
Three years of experience in a medical office, health/healthcare administration, or pharmacy setting.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in both English and Spanish.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Knowledge of chronic illnesses.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in both English and Spanish.
Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Ability to interact with the public, school district administrators, community organizations, and other agencies.
