Job Description

You'll join a team working for one of the world's biggest investment banks. Your goal will be to build effective performance evaluation strategies and practices to ensure high availability and stability of the core trading business.

Qualifications

• design and implementation of different performance testing strategies;
• system behavior prediction and bottleneck calculation within distributed high-load systems;
• evaluation, monitoring, and reporting to key stakeholders - business and dev leads;
• team management and keeping the spirit high.

What we expect you to have

• the desire to learn a lot and fast – we admire fast learners;
• high level of research independence – specific tasks will require you to study  where no one has ever stepped in;
• statistics/math mindset – the job is often calculus, we need you to know the basics (or feel intrigued to learn them);
• understanding of distributed architectures and technologies;
• solid understanding of OOP principles;
• solid understanding of Unix systems.

Nice to have

• 2+ year of performance analysis experience OR 2+ years in similar roles (system analysis, testing, administration, or development);
• proven track of Python or Java coding experience – we have plenty of our own tools to do our job; we need more tools to do it better;
• finTech testing or a trading background – Devexperts does FinTech, and your experience will be valued.
