Automotive Customer Service Advisor
Location:

Job Overview:
As an Automotive Customer Service Representative with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the first point of contact with our guests. You are the person that our guests see every time they make an investment into their vehicle, because of these reasons you play a large role in building relationships with our guests.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
- Greet guests promptly and check in guests utilizing a high level of hospitality and kindness
- Provide safe shuttle service for our valued guests. The shuttle experience is a key part of our organization.
- Treat our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with Christian Brothers
- Assist the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed
- Answer phones to take appointments or coordinate with guests, always prioritizing long-term relationships with guests.
- Discover details about guest concerns related to their vehicles
- Keep lobby and office clean
- Assist other team members as needed with clerical tasks such as accounts receivable and filing paperwork
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven successful customer service experience is required; driven to serve others
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and guests
- Valid state driver's license
- Meet required insurance driving record parameters
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment and a team mentality
- Ability to seek and accept coaching and direction
- Ability to multitask
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- An attitude that displays joy and gratitude.
- A high level of emotional intelligence and ability to connect with our guests.
- Strong typing skills and a moderate level of comfort with navigating new technology
- Experience in automotive repair
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
- The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Being dependable for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
