The Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Own and deliver multiple hydropower, hydraulic structures and dams projects, including capital improvements, equipment refurbishment and upgrades, lifecycle extension programs, regulatory compliance projects, and dam safety improvements.
- Provide technical support for client projects covering all hydropower technologies including small hydropower, conventional hydropower, and pumped storage.
- Oversee EPC vendors and contractors and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage risks and ensure successful project execution.
- Serve as the primary client interface with assigned clients to assist in developing client relationships and identification of new project opportunities including pre-positioning for favorable consideration by the client.
- Support business development efforts by leading proposal development in response to client RFPs.
- Join the West Region Hydropower Leadership team, who is responsible for defining strategic marketing and execution strategies as well as making project and team staff decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manages medium to large engineering projects involving multiple clients or partners, or small EPC projects with minimal risk.
- Manages multiple Services clients or a small EPC project client.
- Obtains new/repeat business on medium to large size projects; supports contract negotiations with other client personnel.
- Manages risk which may include fixed price, new technology, non domestic markets or new clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in design and construction of hydropower, hydraulic structures, or dams projects
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management with full responsibility for the outcome of the project
- Previous experience with engineering projects in a utility power plant setting
- Previous experience in a client facing role
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
