Senior HR Business Advisor - Investigations

Job Summary
This role will be part of our Global Client Services team and will working closely with HR partners, Legal, and various leaders across the business on investigations. Serving as a primary point of contact responsible for partnering with and guiding managers, HR Business Partners, and colleagues on escalated performance issues, complex employee concerns, and investigations, this role will partner with other HR and cross functional teams to help utilize ER data and metrics analysis proactive partner to the business by forecasting and identifying issues in advance.
Responsibilities
Lead and complete investigations into employee concerns in a through, impartial, and timely manner
Lead and facilitate resolution of escalated employee relations issues (to assist employees and managers in creating a productive, engaging work environment
Documenting findings, providing updates and recommendations of next steps to a variety of stakeholders, including up to the Executive level
Compile and analyze data to help provide relevant feedback and insights to the business
Assist in policy implementation and interruptions as needed
Counsel and advise peers and stakeholders on employee issues
Assist as needed with development and deployment of investigations & employee relations training
Assess employee performance challenges or development needs, recommend solutions, and coach managers on effectiveness
May communicate and coach managers in team effectiveness and leadership development
May collaborate with the business and serve as key lead on reporting, analysis and insights as key HR programs, such as our pay and performance review process and employee engagement survey
May partner with our Centers of Excellence: Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Rewards, and HR Operations to deliver programs and execute on HR plans
Offer COVID triage support and support return to work protocols
Qualifications
5+ years Investigations or HR generalist experience preferred with a focus on Investigation and Employee Relations
Demonstrated experience leading complex situations, creative problem-solving and strong influencing skills in a matrixed environment. Must have exceptional judgement and discretion
Strong understanding of complex employee related policy or process (e.g. relations experience with issues specific to performance management and leaves of absence
Coaching and counseling at manager and employee level experience required
Experience conducting workplace investigations, demonstrating effective listening, probing and investigatory skills with the ability to synthesize data, identify root problems/causes, and recommend actions to resolution in partnership with Legal
Record of building strong relationships, based on trust and credibility
Ability to lead and make decisions independently
Experience supporting multiple organizations and HR partners preferred
Ability to meet deadlines, run shifting priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
User level knowledge of HR Systems is critical – Workday experience a plus
Facilitation skills desired
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related business field preferred
