Yard Driver II

Daily Responsibilities:

·        Work in the yard truck to organize tractor trailers as needed  

·        Ensure trucks and trailers are ready for unloading, loading, and transport 

·        Verify status of equipment on property  

·        Operate yard switcher or tractor to move trailers around the warehouse  

·        Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment 

·        Keep equipment clean and operating safely 

Requirements: 

·        Minimum one-year verifiable yard driving experience  

·        Must have a Class A CDL valid driver’s license with a clean driving record in good standing. 

·        No DUI in the past 5 years 

·        Successfully complete road/pre-trip test in yard switcher   

·        High school diploma or equivalent 

·        Ability to obtain a DOT Medical card 

·        2 Years Switcher Experience

·        Use of Yard Management Experience
