In this role you will work as a member of the Global Retail Product team. You will ensure that Western Union has best-in-class retail solutions, which provides the best possible agent and customer experience, while achieving the success metrics.
Role Responsibilities
Be experienced in both upstream product and service definition, and downstream product development and execution.
Generate product ideas that are focused on driving sales, acquiring new customers, retaining existing customers, building brand loyalty, and providing self-service tools to customers.
Assess opportunities by identifying ROI, define key performance indicators and partner with analytics team to measure success.
Understand product alternatives and work with multi-disciplined team to understand trade-offs and put value on alternatives. You will define and document product requirements, features, and functionality.
Work with UI/UX teams to bring engaging user experiences to life.
Manage products through the product development lifecycle ensuring that proper alignment and approvals are obtained from Legal, Compliance, Privacy and Infosec so that development timelines are not jeopardized.
Act as product owner in agile process.
Lead in-house teams using agile scrum methodology drafting business requirements, prioritizing features, authoring user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating with scrum team members to ensure product features are delivered according to specifications.
Provide ongoing analysis on product effectiveness using a data driven approach.
Coordinate with our global operations and marketing teams to ensure a successful GTM execution.
Role Requirements
Previous working experience as an Associate Product Manager 2+ years Financial Services, preferably payments.
Technical background, with experience partnering with engineers.
Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, engineering, or equivalent relevant experience. Strong business writing, numerical analysis, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
Get things done attitude; with self-motivated, with the ability to “roll-up sleeves” and prioritize critical deadlines.
Attention to detail and a penchant for creating great customer experiences.
Ability to break down complex experiences into simple documents, stories, and flows. Experience in developing user flows and collaboration Diagrams.
Experience with customer research and usability testing methodologies.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders/teams in different countries with different cultural backgrounds.
Previous experience of lean and agile working methodologies.

Salary
The base salary range is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
