Job Description
The Chase Rewards product team is responsible for delivering loyalty user experiences that enable our customers to earn and redeem their Ultimate Rewards points. The Rewards Product Strategy Associate will help develop the strategic vision and modernization path of Rewards core products and tech applications to make our products better, smarter, and more personalized by leveraging a deep understanding of customer needs, data intelligence, and how to create excellence at scale. This will help the rewards team in defining how we unlock new features as we build new customer centric Rewards journey. You will be a story-teller, helping drive the communication of our vision across area product groups and key stakeholders. You are a self-starter with the ability to operate effectively collaborating, communicating and delivering cross-functionally across Product, Design, Data and Technology teams to drive business results. If you enjoy creative problem solving, are highly analytical and curious about how things work, and are skilled at building momentum and structure around meaningful work, this is the role for you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Growing into a subject matter expert on Rewards and Loyalty user experience as well as the Rewards core product areas
- Specific focus on longer-term strategic initiatives to ensure we are optimizing the product roadmap for long-term success
- Help develop materials for Business Reviews with executive leadership and other forums by crafting a comprehensive story of the Rewards strategy
- Partnering with key stakeholders and cross functional teams to achieve the best business value possible. Use collaborative storytelling to communicate and drive cross-functional alignment for your work.
- Collaborate with a team of cross-functional partners to ensure a strong risk and controls environment (e.g., Risk, Controls, Legal, Compliance)
- Developing and manage integrated plans, working effectively at all levels and providing progress communications to stakeholders on a regular basis
- Communicating with executive level leadership product needs, progress and business challenges.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 3+ years of product management, program management, product strategy or relevant experience. Proven track record of delivery in fast paced environments.
- Proactive, strategic, and results driven with the ability to prioritize and help manage multiple complex initiatives and deliverables at the same time
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information in order to inform and make decisions quickly, take risks, course-correct, and constantly iterate on your approach
- Ability to make recommendations and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities.
- Ability to communicate openly, be transparent, be open and receptive to diverse ideas from different stakeholders, with the ability to influence and motivate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner to cross-functional partners up and down the chain with the ability to influence and motivate
- Flexibility to influence and partner across a large, highly matrixed organization and drive change through promoting a culture of collaboration across organizational boundaries
- Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team
- Experience with Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) JIRA, Confluence Tools.
- Bachelor’s degree required
