JOB SUMMARY
The Lead PSA Compliance Specialist will supervise the PSA Compliance Specialists for the TRC Department. Take the lead on the full implementation of the Interim Final Rule (IFR) and ongoing compliance of the IFR for the Abbott House TRC Department. The Lead PSA Compliance Specialist will be the liaison with ORR’s PSA Coordinator to implement the IFR and address any concerns that may arise. The Lead PSA Compliance Specialist will also work closely with the Abbott House Continuous Quality Improvement Team to assure the TRC department is complying with all in-house, state, city and Orr policies. . Will coordinate and oversee onsite program inspections/audits. Will be responsible for following the outcomes mandated from the Office of Refugee Resettlement, especially with documentation of Sexually Exploited Individuals.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide weekly individual and group supervision to the PSA Compliance Specialists.
- Participate in the monthly PSA calls with ORR, update and train the TRC administrators in reference to change in policies or added policies.
- Responsible for the consistent review of the TRC Shelter policy to ensure procedure manuals are up to date.
- Coordinate the monthly audits of the active and closed files (both hard copy and in portal).
- Conduct weekly audits of the medical files (in the portal).
- Develop a schedule and conduct unannounced Facility Safety checks monthly at different schedules to ensure children are safe and protocols are being followed.
- Oversee and conduct the training of staff and children on Zero Tolerance, sexual abuse, and sexual harassment every four months.
- Use the ORR TKPI tool to track and review all Serious Incident Reports, PRS & Home Study referrals.
- Coordinate an ongoing meeting with the administrator to review all incidents.
- Read and address all grievances daily.
- Work with the Leads and Administrators to prevent, protect and respond to any incident that has occurred under the TRC Dept.’s custody.
