Production Associate I 1st shift 5:30 am - 2:00 pm Kitting/Drainland

Job Type Full-time Description

  

Primary Responsibilities

· Fulfill work orders using production or assembly equipment as assigned by Shift Supervisor

· Record accurate work order information – quantity produced, quantity scrapped, raw materials used, etc. as required by the work order.

· Perform quality control of raw materials and finished goods during the production process.

General duties:

· Monitor & request replenishment of production related supplies.

· Assist in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse.

· Assist in coordinating / performing inventory counts as assigned.

· Other duties as assigned by management.

· Pick orders according to picking lists.

· Pack orders according to build of materials.

· Assemble kits for workshops or customers as needed.

· Fill in on Machine Operation as needed.

· Complete all production tasks as assigned. Palletizing finished product to specific instructions. Assist in special projects as directed by management.

· Represents Schluter Systems L.P. in a professional, positive, and enthusiastic manner in all matters.

Requirements

  

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Good communication, ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) accurately.

· Prior experience in a distribution environment

· General knowledge of warehouse procedures

· Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and utilize material handling equipment.

· Must be able to stand entire shift. 

· Ability to adhere to defined processes and procedures and suggest improvements.
