About the Role
As a Digital Transformation Intern within the Advanced Technology & Enterprise Solutions team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting technology initiatives that drive Zurich’s digital transformation and operational excellence. This internship will provide end-to-end exposure to the software development and management lifecycle—from strategy and solution design to enablement and delivery.
You’ll work closely with experienced professionals and senior leaders, gaining insight into how technology powers a global commercial insurance organization.
What You’ll Learn & Do
- Support technology strategy and enablement initiatives aligned with Zurich North America’s business goals
- Participate in solution design, testing, and delivery activities across enterprise applications
- Learn and apply project management and software development methodologies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT and business teams to deliver impactful solutions
- Gain exposure to the full software lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and support
- Strengthen corporate communication and collaboration skills through team engagement and presentations
Systems & Tools You’ll Learn
- ZNA enterprise applications and platforms
- Various project and software lifecycle management tools
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Two or more years of college coursework (should be a rising Junior or Senior)
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher
- Foundational coding and software development knowledge (experience with any programming language a plus)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Curiosity to learn and a passion for technology innovation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed hourly rate for this position is $24.00 - $27.50.
