Job Summary:
The Area Vice President, Operations is responsible for the overall operations and financial results of the assigned market including, but not limited to, operations, internal and external client development, business relationships, and profitability. The Area VP is expected to deliver outstanding service to our clients and be a mentor to all direct reports while leading the team effectively and efficiently. The AVP thinks strategically to ensure that the territory achieves maximum profitability and growth that aligns with the Company goals. Furthermore, the AVP is expected to be knowledgeable of the industry ensuring that Classic Collision remains a best-in-class industry leader in operations, service, and employee relations.

Essential Responsibilities:
Actively lead Area level performance though Regional Directors: key metrics, quality, individual skill levels, Retention and employee development:
- Managing shops safety compliance and administration of safety performance scorecard.
- Staying current on continuing education in the car industry, and current on all vehicle repair procedures and technologies.
- Ensure 100% monthly compliance on shop QA audits
- Ensure that equipment is always kept in working order
- Communicate and manage performance expectations, revenue goals, employee training and retention objectives
- Recruit, hire, mentor, and develop top collision repair leadership talent, including building a talent bench for the territory.
- Responsible for maintaining and growing DRP key contact personal relationships ensuring communication lines are open and critical feedback is delivered to Regional Managers and/or General Managers.
- Manage and hold all staff accountable for shop performance though Recipe Book execution (SOP’S).
- Provide support to Regional Managers for coaching staff and resolving customer concerns as required
- Act as liaison to ensure that concerns/recommendations of Regional Managers are acted on, integration efforts are achieving company goals and integration of UAGE into every shop in territory.
- Participate in external marketing and team building activities as requested
- Review weekly and monthly performance reports and conduct regular operations reviews with direct reports
- Review weekly and/or monthly reviews as required with key DRP partners
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of ten years collision repair / auto body management experience REQUIRED
- Ability to understand and analyze business operations and financial statements
- Proven leadership and track record of employee development and retention
- Must be open to travel in order to support integration needs for the company.
- Must have valid driver's license and be eligible for automobile insurance coverage
- Proficient working knowledge of CCC One estimating platform and management system
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PPT.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
