As Senior Planning Manager at our Belgium Taste manufacturing site, you'll be at the forefront of managing service levels, optimizing inventory, and driving cost efficiencies. Your role as a vital link between business planning, customer care, and manufacturing will require proactive issue resolution and escalation management as well as developing, inspiring and growing planning team.

Your key responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop planning team in line with Dsm-Firmenich core values.
- Lead operational planning activity of the site in line with service level, inventory & cost objectives.
- Manage variability through plans to surge material and capacity capabilities whilst optimizing asset’s utilization.
- Confirm orders within agreed timeline and maintain a proactive communication with Customer Experience team.
- Serve as a key link between business planning, customer care and manufacturing; proactively eliminate and manage escalations.
- Enable planning digitalization and advanced planning solution implementation at your site.

You bring
• A university degree in Engineer, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Mathematics or Economics
• 8 years’ experience in Supply chain with a relevant operations planning experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years in a management role
• Knowledge of SAP ECC and APO or equivalent; advanced planning tools knowledge is a plus
• Strong communication skills, English & French
• Advanced analytical skills
• APICS-CPIM or similar certification is a plus
