Job Title: Senior Product Owner

Location:  Remote 
 
Everfox is seeking a qualified product architect/owner responsible for defining and prioritizing product functionality for product implementation. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization the product architect will scope release content and define requirements and deliver on-time and high-quality software products that align with business goals. The candidate will support the company’s strategy to develop an improved development process and implement the tactics, within their role, associated with that philosophy and vision. The candidate will serve as a primary liaison between engineering, and product management and customers. The product owner must be experienced in managing all aspects of roadmap creation, backlog refinement, and feature and epic definition.  

The product owner will be expected to be a product expert, gather feature requests and user or business requirements, prioritize them, and break down epics and features with development teams. Products in the portfolio are complex, enterprise systems where the end user is typically a system administrator. 

Responsibilities Include 

• Work with product management and system architects to appropriately capture feature requests, use cases, POC requests, and to organize them into properly prioritized user stories and epic backlogs.  

• Facilitate activities that synthesize & refine business need/requests to proposed solutions. Regularly meet with various types of end-users including administrators and analysts to understand environments and workflows; properly document and share information gathered with stakeholders.  

• Develop project document deliverables such user stories, epics, features, accreditation documentation, release notes, etc. 

• Develop and maintain internal, product functionality catalogs when necessary; analyze existing functionality against what is needed by customers and market and provide prosed solutions in various formats such as user-story mapping, story boarding, functionality matrices, well-defined epics and stories.<
