Head of Services - Omni EMEA

<p><strong>Role overview</strong></p><p>Oversee the delivery of multiple successful Oracle Retail software implementations, by utilizing knowledge of the retail industry, project management and business development. A proven track record of software application delivery and strong executive-level communication skills. </p><p>To manage client relationships and expectations while providing project governance to onsite and remote project teams.</p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong>: </p><ul> <li>Represent OLR in pre-sales activities, seminars, and trade shows </li> <li>Manage client relationships, including owning the overall client experience with OLR </li> <li>Own account management in region to drive new opportunities for existing accounts. </li> <li>Line manager for EU OLR Omni Project Team including Project Managers, Technical Consultants, Business Consultants and Quality Assurance teams. </li> <li>High-level project planning and scheduling, including staffing, timeline, and budget considerations </li> </ul><ul> <li>Working with OLR Project Managers, overseeing Project budgeting and forecasting with reconciliation to client invoices. </li> <li>Oversee project scope definition and control. </li> <li>Lead project teams to deliver successful projects, with quality delivered. </li> <li>Advise clients on implementation approach, project phasing, and risk management strategies </li> <li>Executive-level project status reporting (eg. steering committee) </li> </ul><ul> <li>Ensure continuity of client experiences with OLR, including the transition from project to ongoing support </li> <li>Assist in the definition and ongoing maintenance of OLR's project methods </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Essential skill and Experience:</strong></p><ul> <li>10+ years of direct software delivery experience (retail experience preferred) with a track record of delivery </li> <li>Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (presentation, verbal and written) </li> </ul><ul> <li>Previous history of working directly with client executive teams </li> <li>Understanding of Oracle Retail Omni functional concepts and integration points </li> <li>Demonstrable track record in successful project and team management, comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of project management. </li> <li>Fully capable of managing large projects and by implication, leading multiple project teams when necessary </li> </ul><p><strong>Desirable Skills and Experience:</strong> </p><ul> <li>Understand and demonstrates financial competence </li> <li>Builds effective risk mitigation plans, processes, and communications </li> <li>Able to drive process improvement across the entire project management group </li> <li>The high degree of initiative, motivation and problem-solving skills </li> <li>Ability to work with clients to build a sense of shared ownership and minimizes potential resistance </li> </ul><ul> <li>Excellent planning, forecasting and organizational skills </li> <li>Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics </li> <li>Ability to develop proposals for clients and plans for large package software projects </li> <li>Retail systems experience </li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology </li> </ul><ul><li>10+ years in the Retail industry or an associated Retail IT field </li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information</strong> </p><ul><li>Domestic and international travel will be required </li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Private Health Insurance</li> <li>Private Life Insurance</li> <li>Flex Benefits monthly allowance</li> <li>Work-from-home friendly</li> <li>Coffee, Tea, and Water in the office</li> <li>Different social events with a lot of food</li> <li>Great Collaborative environment</li> <li>A Certified Great Place to work</li> </ul>
