Senior Specialist Data Integration

<p><b>Job Description Summary</b></p>Sr. Specialist for project delivery and/or operations in the given business sub -capability. -Partner with Business Stakeholders and DDIT Strategic Business Partners for demand analysis, solution proposal/evaluation and project delivery -Drive operations of systems and applications in scope (both Global and Local), ensuring their stability and integrity and meeting customer service levels.<p><br/> </p><p><b>Job Description</b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and data integration solutions using tools like <b>Informatica</b> or equivalent.</li><li>Write and optimize <b>R and Python scripts</b> for data transformation, cleansing, and automation.</li><li>Work with <b>Oracle and SQL Server</b> databases to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with business needs.</li><li>Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.</li><li>Participate in all phases of the <b>SDLC</b>, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.</li><li>Apply <b>Agile and Waterfall</b> methodologies to manage and execute projects effectively.</li><li>Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Role Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent <span>experience demonstrated</span> experience</li><li>Strong experience in ETL and data integration roles, including hands-on experience with <b>ETL tools</b> such as Informatica, Talend, or similar.</li><li>Proficiency in <b>R scripting</b> or <b>Python scripting</b>.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <b>Oracle</b> or <b>SQL Server</b> databases.</li><li>Solid understanding of <b>SDLC principles</b> and software engineering best practices.</li><li>Exposure to <b>Agile methodologies</b> and traditional <b>Waterfall</b> project execution.</li><li>Proficiency in English (written and Oral).</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Why Novartis:</b><br/>Our purpose is to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people’s lives and our vision is to become the most valued and trusted medicines company in the world.
