Collins Aerospace is seeking a dynamic professional to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, driving program and product success from inception to delivery. This role involves close collaboration with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Finance to ensure programs meet or exceed delivery timelines, cost targets, and customer expectations. You'll play a crucial role in managing production schedules, monitoring costs, and improving operational efficiency.

Relocation may be available for this role.

What You Will Do:

  • Act as the primary liaison between Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations to develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  • Support the development and execution of integrated schedules and phase gate processes.
  • Collaborate with suppliers early in the process to ensure timely production and on time delivery.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and IPT to drive cost reductions and identify revenue opportunities by influencing design decisions for optimal cost and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Recommend strategic make-or-buy decisions with financial justifications.
  • Monitor material and labor costs to ensure targets are met.
  • Drive cost reductions and identify revenue opportunities with the IPT team.
  • Oversee Engineering change management while driving standards across the value stream to continuously improve processes and products.
  • Monitor program costs and identify opportunities for savings and revenue growth.
  • Manage multiple projects with shifting priorities, ensuring timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and present out on program status.
  • Support customer meetings and assist with aircraft modifications as needed.
  • Collaborate on estimates and proposals for future work
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Project Management Profession (PMP) certification
  • Experience with Continuous/Process Improvement
  • Program / Project management experience
  • Experience within the Aerospace industry
  • SAP/ERP Experience
  • Proficiency with Excel and experience presenting to leadership
