Are you ready to be a part of a team committed to changing the world?</p></div><h2><strong>Who You Are</strong></h2> <p>The Capital Project QA Manager oversees quality management systems, procedures, and documentation for large-scale capital projects and smaller scale improvement/developmental projects , ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, regulations, and safety standards. Key duties include developing QA program/QC plans, conducting site audits, managing contractor compliance, and mitigating risks.&nbsp;</p> <p>The QA Manager is responsible for the <strong>proactive processes</strong> and governance that prevent errors throughout the project lifecycle.</p> <p>The role is a based in <strong>Alameda, California</strong>, but typically require onsite presence, at construction sites, offices, and client locations to oversee auditing, operations, inspections and reporting.&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>Responsibilities and Duties &nbsp;</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Quality Planning:</strong> Develop and implement <strong>Sila’s Quality Management Plan (QMP)</strong> tailored to owner requirements, industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and regulatory mandates.&nbsp; Develop, implement, and enforce a project-specific Quality Assurance Plan and QC protocols for construction, materials, and equipment.</li> <li><strong>Audit &amp; Compliance:</strong> Conduct systematic internal and external audits to verify adherence to established protocols and technical standards. Perform on-site quality inspections and audits to verify adherence to design drawings, specifications, and codes.</li> <li><strong>Vendor &amp; Contractor Oversight:</strong> Review and validate contractor quality plans, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and material certifications to ensure vendor performance.
