A Day in the Life
We’re building a new Global Price Planning and Reporting team, and you could be part of it. This team brings together everything related to price and mix forecasting, as well as performance reporting. You'll help guide Global and Regional Operating Units (OUs) and Pricing teams in setting price performance targets, tracking results, and identifying opportunities to course-correct when needed.You’ll also play a key role in evolving our reporting tools and metrics to support smart decision-making—from governance boards at the GCO level, to the MDT Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and across Global and Regional OUs and RLMs. The role includes ad hoc analytics to support strategic pricing decisions. You’ll report into the Global Pricing and Contracting team, and ideally be based in Western Europe to stay well connected with colleagues across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Travel is minimal—just 3 to 4 days per quarter.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Refocus PME on core business drivers including net price increases, product and therapy mix, and foreign exchange impact
- Redesign the price forecasting process to improve simplicity, speed, resource efficiency, and alignment with broader company planning cycles
- Map current forecasting workflows and interfaces, identify gaps, and define an improved “To Be” process in collaboration with global and regional partners
- Partner with Regional Leaders to drive incremental price improvements versus the FY26 PME plan through joint methodology development, analysis, and alignment
- Lead enhancements to the PVM methodology to improve accuracy and better reflect impacts such as product mix changes and new product introductions
- (Re)design and lead the Pricing Council to support strong governance and cross-functional collaboration
- Lead the Price Governance Strategy & Planning team, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of all key outputs including QPFR, business review packages, and PVM dashboard updates
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven experience in leading Medtronic’s core price forecasting processes at the Operating Unit (OU) level, including IBP/QPFR, PME, POP planning, and AOP in collaboration with Finance
- Demonstrated ability to drive OU performance through the effective use of MDT reporting tools and dashboards such as PVM and NPL
- Strong expertise in pricing for new product launches (NPL)
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change by engaging stakeholders across a matrix organization
- Preferred background as a regional pricing strategist, based on deep proficiency in the areas above
- Experience in team leadership and project management, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
