Job Description

Title: General Technician – Gravure Production Department

Reports to: Production Manager

Summary: Performs, process, and supports Gravure Press Operation in four specific areas as required but not limited to Press Room, Roll Stand Tasks, Folder/Gluer, and/or Material Handling.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive product from Press, stack and place on pallets.
• Pull product from press, stack and place on pallets.
• Printing pallet labels with Pecas. Be able to find all information needed on job docket and set up sheet.
• Ensure correct loading of product onto pallets for Material handling.
• Ensure quality of jobs completed by reviewing for quality and accuracy. Makes sure jobs are complete and error free. Informs Operators of any problems.
• Ensures finished product appears to be of highest quality, accurately printed and completed and free of errors.
• Pull Product samples according to company procedures and send to Quality Auditors as required.
• Notifies Operator immediately of any problems and/or errors.
