Job Summary: 

 

The Regional Director -- Fitness Division is responsible for overseeing the operational success, financial performance, client satisfaction, and team leadership across a portfolio of fitness centers nationwide. This includes fitness and amenity facilities in verticals such as corporate, hospitality, residential, and commercial properties. The Regional Director will serve as a key partner to clients, a strategic leader to onsite teams, and a driver of revenue growth, operational excellence, and brand consistency.

Compensation for this role is $90k-$110k depending on experience. Our ideal candidate will be located in the mid-west region to service locations in or around the Chicago, IL area. Apply today for immediate consideration & to join our amazing Fitness team!

 

Key Responsibilities:

Multi-Site Oversight

  • Supervise and support day-to-day operations across multiple fitness centers within the assigned region.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service, programming, and facility standards at each site.
  • Conduct regular site visits, audits, and performance reviews with location leadership.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients at each facility.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and provide strategic recommendations for ongoing improvement.

Operational & Financial Management

  • Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, expense control, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Ensure each site meets or exceeds KPIs related to financial performance, client satisfaction, and utilization.
  • Guide Fitness Directors/Managers in developing local business plans and achieving goals.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate site-level leadership and key staff.
  • Coach direct reports through regular check-ins, annual reviews, and goal setting.
  • Facilitate professional development, certification compliance, and succession planning.

Strategic Growth & Pre-Opening Support

  • Support new site openings, including recruitment, staff training, systems implementation, and launch planning.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Assist with RFPs, proposals, pro formas, and client presentations.

Marketing, Programming & Innovation

  • Support implementation of effective marketing strategies and local outreach efforts.
  • Promote innovative programming to drive member engagement and revenue.
  • Ensure consistency in programming and service delivery aligned with AAG brand standards.
