Customer Service Associate (cashier)

Description

As a Customer Service Associate (cashier) in our convenience store, you will be the face of our company and the first point of contact for our customers. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individual who is driven to provide exceptional service to all our customers. 

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome customers as they approach the checkout area

- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently

- Handle cash and credit card transactions with care and accuracy

- Assist customers in locating products and answering their questions

- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

- Follow all safety and security procedures

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Basic math skills

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
