Position Overview

  • Perform all painting preparations and applications to blades for delivery to customers

  • Relocation will not be offered for this role

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive and perform work assignments, oral and/or written and follow work instructions.

  • Operate blade handling equipment as needed.

  • Document painting application as required.

  • Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of equipment to assemble, inspect, and evaluate parts per accepted Siemens or industry standards.

  • Set up, operate, and maintain painting application equipment per work instructions.

  • Perform visual inspections as required.

  • Work with or under the direction of managers and engineers.

  • Follow all applicable specifications and procedures regarding the performance of shop operations.

  • Use all required safety equipment and follow established safety procedures.

  • Provide technical direction to other employees as required.

  • Keep work areas in a clean and orderly condition.

  • Support and apply team concepts in daily activities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience

  • The employee must certify on the painting requirements and specifications.

  • Within the qualifying period, the employee must complete the required equipment specific training requirements and process applications.

  • Acquire forklift and crane license.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Passing score on General Aptitude test.

  • Previous paint application experience preferred.

  • Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States
