Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement and Relationship Building:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer interactions, gathering feedback, and understanding customer needs and pain points.
- Build strong relationships with key customers to gain insights into their businesses, challenges, and opportunities.
- Advocate for customer needs within the organization and drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Add-On Value Identification and Development:
- Identify opportunities to provide additional value to customers through add-on products, features, or services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver add-on solutions that address customer needs and drive incremental revenue.
- Define clear value propositions and messaging for add-on offerings to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
SKU Management and Portfolio Optimization:
- Manage the product portfolio, including SKUs, product variants, and packaging options, to meet the diverse needs of customers.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to optimize the product mix and streamline the portfolio.
- Make data-driven decisions about SKU rationalization, new product introductions, and discontinuations to maximize profitability and efficiency.
Pricing Strategy and Optimization:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with customer value perceptions, competitive dynamics, and business objectives.
- Conduct pricing analysis, including competitive benchmarking, willingness-to-pay studies, and value-based pricing models, to inform pricing decisions.
- Monitor pricing performance and adjust pricing strategies as needed to optimize revenue, margin, and market share.
Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) Management:
- Understand the factors contributing to the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for each product and SKU.
- Work closely with supply chain, operations, and finance teams to identify opportunities to reduce COGS through sourcing, manufacturing, and process improvements.
- Balance cost reduction initiatives with product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction considerations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles, such as sales, account management, or customer success.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in product management, marketing, or related field, with a track record of successfully launching and managing products in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of pricing principles, SKU management, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management processes and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the technology industry or related fields.
- Familiarity with software-as-a-service (SaaS) business models and subscription-based pricing strategies.
- Experience with customer segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies.
- Proficiency in using analytical tools and software for data analysis and visualization.
- Certification in product management or related areas.
