Job Title: Licensed Therapist – MH/CD IOP

The role of the Baptist Health Mental Health (MH) and Chemical Dependency (CD) IOP Therapist is to provide clinical treatment and oversight of the Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program (CD IOP). It is the role of the therapist to provide initial assessment and consultation to patients prior to program admission.

Job Description:

  • Provides clinical services including psychosocial assessment, individual, family, and group therapies that meet the established standards of care and standards of practice. 
  • Provide direct therapeutic group services, and individual consultation and services when needed, with emphasis on substance abuse and recovery.
  • Completes and facilities referrals for recommendations to bridge the gap of continued care, if another level of care is recommended.
  • Upkeep treatment plans, screening tools, daily progress notes, and all documentation required for programming.
  • Tend to tasks that support the overall operations of the program, by working with support staff.
  • Participate in staffing with the medical providers and other members of the treatment team on a routine basis for quality of care.
  • Will see all ages via telehealth and in-person visits.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field.
  • Must hold credentials of either Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and maintain licensure and good standing with Kentucky Boards of Social Work and Professional Counseling.
  • Preferably has experience completing psychiatric and substance use disorder assessments.
