About the role
<p><span><strong><span>CO-OP PROGRAM FORMAT:</span><br/><br/></strong></span></p>
<p><span>This co-op program will follow an in-person model. Co-ops will be based at Chrysler Technology Center (CTC) or other facility in the Metro Detroit area and are expected to work on-site 5 days per week during work rotations. Co-ops will rotate aligned with the Kettering University co-op schedule. Applications are accepted year-round, and co-op cohorts start on a quarterly basis in and co-ops are intended to stay in the program until graduation.</span><br/><br/></p>

<p><span>The co-op program offers a unique alternative to traditional internships by providing co-ops with the opportunity to work year-round throughout their academic journey. This continuous engagement allows co-ops to apply their classroom learning in real-world settings on a daily basis, fostering deeper integration within their teams and organizations. As they progress through the program, co-ops are empowered to take on increasing levels of responsibility, gaining valuable experience, and making meaningful contributions along the way.<br/><br/></span></p>
<p><span>Co-ops will be assigned to a department based on the candidate's background and skill set. The assignments are project-oriented, meaningful to the department, and allow the co-op to provide valuable contributions. Co-ops experience a sense of personal accomplishment and learn about the corporate business culture through work assignments, structured activities, and exclusive student networking events.<br/><br/></span></p>

<p><span>Join Stellantis Product Development & Technology (PDT) as a Kettering University Co-Op and be part of a global organization driving the future of mobility. PDT is responsible for- the design, development, validation, and delivery of innovative vehicle systems, software, and technologies across the Stellantis portfolio.<br/><br/></span></p>
<p><span>Co-ops are assigned to teams based on their academic background, interests, and skill sets. Assignments are project oriented-, meaningful to the business, and designed to allow coops to make real contributions while gaining -hands-on- experience in a professional engineering and technology environment.<br/><br/></span></p>

<strong><span>Qualifications</span></strong>
<p><span><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span>Earned high school diploma, GED, or higher degree by June 2026</span></li>
<li><span>Must be attending or accepted to attend Kettering University in the Co-op program</span></li>
<li><span>Academic focus in Engineering, Computer Science, Software, Data/Analytics, Information Technology, Business, or a related field</span></li>
<li><span>Strong written and verbal communication skills</span></li>
<li><span>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications</span></li>
<li><span>Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team</span></li>
<li><span>Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across various organizational levels</span></li>
<li><span>Strong problem solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues</span></li>
<li><span>Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and perform effectively in a fast paced environment</span></li>
