For those that are interested in being in person for orientation, we will fly you to your closest resident office. Position OverviewWe are currently looking for a motivated intern to work on our Data Intelligence Platform engineering team. The focus will be primarily on customer-facing apps and tools to connect with and leverage our suite of cloud platform services. Capstone OverviewBuild a cross-platform application to connect our proprietary on-prem and cloud data processing runtimes. Build an interactive job execution dashboard that visually graphs job progress and details in real time. Key technologies include electronJS, java, and nodeJS.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to design components, APIs, and microservices
• Leverage and promote object-oriented design patterns and functional best practices
• Demonstrate and develop craftsmanship with clean, readable code
• Contribute to build, test, and deployment pipeline automation
• Document new features

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Java, C/C++, JS, or other object-oriented language(s).
• Good judgement in terms of high-value vs low-value work
• Asynchronous communication skills across time zones

Requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled in a college degree program
• Must be legally authorized to work in the Country of Employment
