Assistant/Associate Professor, Medical Education

Barry University’s College of Health and Wellness (CHW) is seeking a dynamic and innovative full time (12 month) faculty members to join our interdisciplinary group of healthcare experts. This position will be dedicated to our graduate-level Physician Assistant program (Master of Clinical Medical Sciences).

Teach graduate-level courses in the physician assistant program.

Provide student mentorship and advising, including master’s theses/projects.

Engage in Program, College, and University service.

Engage in scholarship.

Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program or accredited allopathic/osteopathic medical program.

Current, unrestricted Florida licensure as a PA, medical or osteopathic physician or eligibility.

Current NCCPA or physician board certification or eligibility.

Master’s degree required. An earned doctorate in a health-related field or in education preferred.

A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.

Prior faculty experience is preferred.
